Best and offer takes this workhorse amp. It has a loud fan
but I have used it for live rehearsals, plugging |
| into a small pa and the fan was never
a problem - ha! Its a bit eccentric, the power button has been
replaced but it still sticks in the "on" position, so I have just turned
the volume knobs down and cut power to it. It comes with an active
crossover that can split incoming sound into either a two way or three
way split. The amp has two sides so I used it for two way systems
and for a while had an extra amp so used it in a three way
configuration. Its in a plywood case I built to protect it and a
homemade rack made of iron so it a heavy mother and not something you
would want to have to use for gigs. It comes with a couple of
heavy duty hi impedance wires that go from the amp to speakers. I
am guessing you won't find parts for this easily so I wouldn't use it in
a setup where you had to push it. I am not really sure how many
watts it is RMS or otherwise, just that it was sold to us for rehearsals
and we used it to put vocals, sax and keyboards through for rehearsals
and it worked fine for that. You need to
come to Anaheim to pick it up (no way you want to ship this - way too
heavy to be worth shipping!). Cash and carry this.

| It currently has two 14" (approx)
lower midrange type PA EV (Electro-voice) speakers. There is a passive
crossover that only lets through the low frequencies, but it's not for
the speakers in the enclosure. They are basically they are because it
was a way to hold and protect them when I had otherwise disposed of the
enclosure that I had them in. So if you wanted this, I would recommend
that you remove the current speakers and replace them with sub speakers.
This enclosure was designed and built by orange county speaker company.
It is in brand-new condition. I believe when it was new it cost about
$375- $400 for the enclosure. The enclosure is EV well-built, heavy
duty, and engineered imported for sub base. You will see by the
dimensions on the photo that this is a large piece of professional
equipment. I will throw the speakers in with the deal since I have no
other use for them, they are in good working order and one of them was
recently recounted and is in very good shape. You will need to come to
Anaheim to pick this up, and you will need a vehicle that can
accommodate something of this size. Cash and carry this item.
